Looking for a free online audio editor? What about a screen capture program? Or an image editor? Well, what if you had all those tools and more all on one site!? Aviary is a free site that you can use to edit images, generate color palettes, editor vector images, and lots more.
Please correct me if I’m wrong…you’ve given your readers 100s of great tools and sites…. but this one looks like a bait-and-switch site to me.
I’ve just come from the site after registering and found fewer tools that are free — and what’s there is not available via screenshot above (i.e. no screen capture at all etc)
Also got screens that said
a) “Today we are making these tools free.” Does that mean tomorrow they won’t be?
b) Most tool tutorials are fee-based…what good are ‘free tools’ if you have to pay to learn how to use them?
I skipped the “find your friends on aviary” option. Perhaps if I hadn’t, I’d see what you see on the screenshot. But why should I have to sign up for that?
