Sadly MozBackup has deficiencies…no Linux version, no Osx version, limited support for Gecko less well known based browsers despite the developer promising it years ago (K-Meleon and Orca aren’t supported). KLS Mailbackup is markedly superior http://www.kls-soft.com/klsmailbackup/index.php though it too is limited in its support for lesser known browsers and for non Windows platforms.
I used to use this program and found it to be pretty good. Now I just copy my Firefox profile from under the Application Data directory and save it somewhere for safe keeping. It’s not as elegant as MozBackup, but it gets the job done.
Been using FEBE for a while to serve a similar purpose and loving it
