Nice explanation, you make it pretty clear that CleanMem is just going the extra mile and doing what application developers should be mindful of from the start, kind of like a janitor it's cleaning up system memory after these applications' keg parties.

Randy is not likely to answer, Raymond. CleanMem runs as a task and can be adjusted in Task Scheduler. You can drag the icon from Program Files to your Quick Launch or pin it on your Taskbar if you so desire.

I use Memory Cleaner by Koshi John. It is similar to CleanMem in the sense that the author decided not to be too cleaver and instead chose to use the Windows System Call.

Btw, I have a tip for HTG. Take a look at <a href="http://www.pallab.net/2009/.../reclaim-your-disk-space-with-diskmax/ -" rel="nofollow">DiskMax</a> by Koshi John. I am pretty sure you would be stunned by the reasults.

CleanMem runs as a task every 15 minutes (it takes about 2 seconds to execute). You can adjust through Task Scheduler.

This looks nifty. Have installed it ... is there anything else I need to do to get it working?
Don't see it running in the Task Manager window.
Oh geeze, why is Chrome.exe running 10 times??????
