If you’re looking to make your Internet browsing more secure, one way could be to disable Meta Refresh. It’s an old option in Internet browsers that is now used more often for malicious purposes than what it was initially intended for. Read on to learn more.







I would be lost without Meta Refresh. I use it refresh my special hand made weather page to auto update the info and weather maps.
Here is a tip I bet a lot of people don’t know. You have always been able to view source code in Notepad in Internet Explorer. Now by default you can only see it in IE’s special viewer. But in the Web Developers tools (F12) you can change it to load into any HTML editor, Windows Notepad and Wordpad, Notepad++ or whatever you want.
In the Developers Tools page click File > Customize Internet Explorer View Source > Other > Search your hard drive for the app you want the source code to open in. My favorite is Windows Wordpad.
