although i'm far from being a grandmother i find eset smart security to be the best set and forget security program out there. i've set the firewall to interactive and it's one of the few that actually remember the settings. with just a few minor tweaks in the advanced settings and configuring a scan time are primarily all i've done. it also comes with some other features i've found useful, such as SysInspector and SysRescue. the best part is it uses almost no resources even when scanning. the only time i know it's running is the brief and far from annoying popup window letting me know it's just updated. this can be turned off, but i don't see a reason to. i 100% recommend eset smart security over every one of the popular over hyped security suites. i'll be renewing for the third year in a row after being a fan of kaspersky for so long
