A cool new book (online book actually) by Google Chrome team on browsers and the web.
20 Things I Learned About Browsers And the Web
i didn’t get passed my browser warning me the site wanted to store information on my computer. gotta love google…
This was at the top of the page.
“This illustrated book was designed for HTML5-compliant browsers and will not work with your current browser.
For the best viewing experience, please download a modern browser, or install the Google Chrome Frame plug-in and try launching this site again.”
I’m using IE 8. It’s the latest browser. I didn’t even bother reading this “on-line book.” How reliable could it be if the site couldn’t even ID my completely modern browser? It’s probably just an attempt to get us to switch to a different browser.
Along with the 1st comment above, I advise all of you to ignore this “Book” and not attempt to open it at all! There’s something extremely fishy about it.
