SyncToy is a good software but there is one annoying thing about it. Lets say you are trying to synchronize a pair of folders on different PCs and each one is around 2GB in size. SyncToy actually copies over the other folder onto the primary PC and then runs a comparison. This really takes time and will clog your home router for a while.
