We got a tip from reader/blogger Ashutosh suggesting we try to drag a .mp3 file to Chrome. Sure enough, it opened a rudamentary player in a new tab. Fair dinkum !

That’s awesome. I just tested it out and was able to drag a whole folder of mp3’s into the browser, where it creates a directory, allowing you to play each one separately.
Chrome is getting better and better.
