As an IT professional – I would like to see a user logon 3 question test that requires the user to answer all 3 correctly before they are allowed to logon / make the 3 questions slightly above 8th grade level of difficulty ……
This poll contained many unimportant or insignificant items and ignored several big ones. The biggest category that needs improvement in Windows 8 is CHOICE. User choice! The biggest item within that category is the ability to eliminate ALL the multi user bloat that those who are the sole users of their computers have to wade through on a constant basis. I am the sole user of my computer as are millions more users and I don’t need a “public” folder, a “guest” folder, a this folder, and a that folder.
Another category that needs much work is SIMPLIFICATION. As Microsoft OSs have become more complicated and more bloated, they have buried the simple configuration settings; things as simple as desktop background and screensavers are hidden from many home users.
