Firefox is already pretty fast when loading, but what if you could make it load even faster? That’s where Firefox Preloader comes in. This nifty program will pre-load some of the components that Firefox uses, so it loads up instantly. Check it out.

I know that fanboys are delusional and have extreme tunnel -vision. I know that “Firesnail’ fanboys are the most extreme and rabid of all. Even after allowing for these facts, the statement “Firefox is already pretty fast when loading” is past “laughable”, and in to the realm of “what Dimension are you from?”. Firesnail is the SLOOooowest loading browser I and everyone i know, including people who use it regularly anyway, have ever used. Those that do use it for browsing do so because they have plenty of time to spare and they like tinkering with all of the “cutesey” toys (add-ons) that are available to try to make it work well. They also know full well that those toys are merely tacky costume jewelry and add even more thumb-twiddling time to the long load wait, but they are “fun to play around with and see how screwy they can make a slow and crash-prone, but otherwise sort-of-decent browser. That said, preloading parts of Firesnail simply takes some of the browser load time and transfers it to the initial load time of your browser. For those old enough to remember (and those poor lost souls still stuck there), just like in AOL hell! Yes ,Firesnail is becoming more and more like a renamed AOL clone by the day. You may soon be commanded to pay a subscription fee. “Firefox is already pretty fast when loading”? Seriously? Naaaah.
