Explore Google Public Data Visually
If you haven’t heard about Google Public Data, it’s Google’s attempt to make large datasets available to the public. Now they’ve added Public Data Explorer, which is a cool tool to visually see all that data. It’s pretty neat, especially if you’re a data person.

Most people use Google for searching the Internet and now you can use it’s awesome algorithm to search for content from your own social network. Just setup a Google profile and join the Social Search experiment and you’ll see a new option called Social which will give you results from your friends and contacts.
