Having Problems with Microsoft Security Essentials? One-Click Fix! (Maybe)

We’ve had nothing but awesome luck with Microsoft Security Essentials, but if you have problems you can try out this little utility that resets all the settings to the default values. We haven’t tested it, but the Windows Club guys usually put out good stuff. (And don’t use it unless you have problems!)

Microsoft Does Tech Support Over… Twitter?

I guess it makes sense though, since you can easily fit "have you rebooted?" or "it’s time to reinstall" into Twitter’s 140 character limit. When it comes to Windows Tech Support people, do they really suggest anything else? =)

Less than a year old, Microsoft’s Fix it site has offered one-click fixes for many common Windows problems. Clearly this was long overdue but kudos to Redmond for devoting the resources to launch and sustain this site.
